It doesn’t matter who you are, who you surround yourself with or which experiences you have in life.

You are your only constant.

People.
Things.
Stuff.

They come and go.

But.

You.
You always remain.
Always.

And in all ways.

Friends – they come and go.

Friends for a reason.
Friends for a season.
Friends for a lifetime.

Even lifetime friends are not a constant in your life.

They have their own STUFF going on that keeps them away from you from time to time. And. That time to time could be days… months… years.

Admittedly the friendship remains… But they’re not always there.

With you.
By your side.

They’re not:

Living your life as you are living it.
Feeling your pain as you are feeling it.
Suffering your losses.
Celebrating your wins.

How many lovers have you had in this lifetime?

2, 5, 10… whatever. Because the number is completely irrelevant.

Think about it.

Initially, in the early stages of the partnership… Of the affair… Of the relationship.

While lust is flowing.
While ego is happy.
While everything feels good.

During what is known as the ‘honeymoon period’.

Everything is blissful.
You feel as though you have FINALLY found your ‘other half’.
Your soul mate.

And it feels so fucking right that you convince yourself ‘this is the one’ that will last forever.

But that doesn’t happen.

For some of us, sure.

But.

Not for all of us.
And certainly not for all relationships.

People change.

Perhaps they don’t change but they begin to reveal their true selves.

And the REAL person who was hiding… lurking beneath the happy, loving, kind and friendly facade at the beginning of the relationship…

ERUPTS TO THE SURFACE

Explodes on to the scene.

And.

Once that happens you can’t put it back.
You can’t pretend that it doesn’t exist.
That it never did.

The man who was so very loving and attentive may become possessive and controlling.

The woman who loved everything about you no longer does.

The person who promised they’d never cheat or leave… does.

No matter the kind of lover… wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend…

Time ALWAYS brings out their truth.

And either they choose to go.

Or they pass.
And you’re alone without them.

Or you choose to set yourself free of them.

Whatever.

Again. You are the only constant.

That relationship may have been the best, the happiest relationship of your life…

BUT WHEN IT’S DONE. IT’S DONE.

People change.
People stretch.
People expand.
People grow.

Which inevitably impacts on and effects the structure and stability of your relationships.

That’s life.
It is what it is.

It’s not my intention to be blase or emotionless here. But that is the simple truth of it.

Resist.
Argue.
Disagree.

All you want.
And others will too.

But it is what it is.

Social influences.
Family influences.
Illness influences.
Relationship influences.
And on and on…
So many influences.

Stuff happens.

Always for a reason.

It’s all part of a grand plan.

A plan so grand that you can not imagine or even foresee what is happening.

OR CAN YOU?

And I know that society dictates that family are blood and are therefore always there for you.

But let’s be blatantly honest here… Because that’s what you need right now. Always. The straight up truth. No fluff. No bullshit. No prettying it up. No white lies.

We all know that there a LOT of imperfect families out there.

That there are a lot of shitful families.
And that every single person in that family has their own share of societal influenced mindset fucktardery that they need to work through.

Some will.
Some won’t.

And simply that society says you MUST be loyal to your family…

When they aren’t the model family that society speaks of.
When they are a bunch of toxic energy vampires.
When they are violent.
Abusive.
Manipulative.

Or worse…

Perhaps you don’t fit in.
They don’t want you around.

You must be loyal to them and ever forgiving and understanding….

But they don’t need to reciprocate that.

(What the actual fuck is up with that?!!)

You will choose to not be around them because you know that doing so is preventing you from living the life that you were born to live.

The life that you desire.
The life that sets your soul on fire.

And you know that if you don’t remove yourself from them.

That if you don’t set yourself free.
That if you don’t leave your tribe.

There is no way at all that you can possibly be all that you can be.
There is no way at all that you can possibly unleash your truth.
There is no way at all that you can possibly practice your art.
There is no way at all that you can possibly follow your passion.
There is no way at all that you can possibly serve your people.
There is no way at all that you can possibly live your purpose.

So you do.

You remove yourself.

And again.

You return to centre where…

YOU ARE YOUR ONLY CONSTANT

And through all these relationships.
Throughout all of these life phases that you experience…

You beat yourself up.
You blame yourself.
You hate on yourself.

You believe that you’re somehow broken.

That the failure…
That the passing…
That the shift…
In those relationships.

Is all your fault.

But.

Is it?

I don’t think so.

And when you choose to be completely fucking honest with yourself you’ll own the fact, the truth, your truth…. That you don’t think so either.

Sure, there are a lot of people out there who are THE reason for the fucked-up-ness of many and sometimes all of their life relationships.

But not you.

You’re different.
You’re more sensitive.
You’re more in tune.
You’re more aware.

You are ever growing.
You are ever expanding.
You are ever evolving.

And the thing is…

You need to stop.
Allowing yourself to suffer.
Right fucking now.

You need to accept.
That you are beautiful. Inside and out.
Right fucking now.

Your need to love yourself.
In every way possible, deeply and thoroughly.
Right fucking now.

And.

You need to CHOOSE.
Yourself. In every way.
Right fucking now.

You need to put yourself FIRST.
Foremost. Before anyone and anything.
Right fucking now.

You need to TREAT yourself.
Like the fucking Queen that you are.
Right fucking now.

You need to be the LEADER.
That you were born to be.
Right fucking now.

Because my sweet one…

You are your only constant.

People.
Experiences.
Things.
Stuff.

They all come and go.

That’s how life works.
That’s just how it is.

But.

You will always remain.

From the moment you are born.
Until the moment you die.

You are the ONLY constant in your life.

EVERYTHING CHANGES.
EVERYONE CHANGES.

AND THE ONLY THING, THE ONLY ONE THAT REMAINS…

Is you!

People come into your life.
People go out of it.

But not you.

You are there.
Always.

Permanently.
Indefinitely.

From birth.
To death.

You are you.
You cannot be separated.
You are life.
You are your life.

So.

If right now you don’t like the you that you are…
If right now you don’t like the people you surround yourself with…
If right now you don’t like the life that you are living…

You can CHOOSE.
You can DECIDE.

To CHANGE it.
To UPLEVEL it.
To EXPAND it.
To GROW it.

And when you make those choices.
When you commit to those decisions.

It is again inevitable.

That people who once fit in your circle.
That people who were once close to you.
That people who mattered more than you did to you.

They fall away.

But.

Not for no reason (of course).

Because everything happens for a reason.
There are no happy accidents.

Is part of the Universes grand plan to bring you back to centre.

Back to the person you were born to be when you entered this world in this human form.
Back to the truth of who you are and why you were put here in the first place.
Back into alignment with your passions, your desires and your purpose.

Back to YOU.
