When you speak your truth, share your message and make your offers if you don’t expect to makes sales how can you expect to make sales?
You put out content every day or at least every other day on Facebook. You share your stuff in groups and across multiple social media channels.
You speak your truth.
You share your message.
You inspire your people.
You put out your offers.
You do the engagement thing.
You have the conversations.
You make yourself known.
BUT THE SALES STILL DON’T COME
Why is it that you put out your stuff constantly? That you ALWAYS have a CTA to your offer…
But.
The sales STILL don’t come?
How is that possible when you are constantly SHOWING THE FUCK UP?
Do you want to know?
I mean really want to know?
To really know the truth of it?
YOU DON’T FRICKIN’ EXPECT THE SALE TO COME!!
Let’s back track a little.
Because this is a pattern for you.
And it started a LONG time ago.
When you were a kid you’d do stuff with a certain outcome in mind. And it didn’t happen.
When you were a teenager you’d make plans and arrangements. And they didn’t happen.
When you’d get super excited about something you wanted and hoped from your parents. And it didn’t happen.
So at some point you DECIDED to never, ever place any REAL expectation around ANYTHING that you really TRULY wanted….
BECAUSE EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU DID YOU WERE LET DOWN
What you wanted so very much didn’t happen for you.
No matter how desperately you wanted it to.
It just didn’t.
So you stopped.
You stopped expecting things to work in your favour.
You stopped expecting everything to work out for you.
You stopped expecting to get exactly what it was that you wanted.
You stopped expecting to feel a certain way.
You stopped expecting to achieve that which you truly desired.
BUT WHY?
Because you went into self-protect mode.
Well.
You didn’t.
But your unconscious mind, your ego mind, wrote this long winded and logical story around why you shouldn’t expect good things to come into your life BECAUSE…
Every time that you didn’t get what you wanted….
Every time you didn’t get that thing that you truly desired…
Every time you didn’t achieve that thing you truly wanted to achieve…
Every time you didn’t reach that goal you had set for yourself…
Every time you didn’t get to have that thing you asked for…
IT WAS LIKE A KICK IN THE GUTS TO YOUR CONFIDENCE
And not even really YOUR confidence. But your unconscious minds confidence.
So you listened to the logical protective conversation that your ego was speaking.
You sat up and took notice of it’s words of warning.
And.
You built an invisible wall around EXPECTATION to:
Stop yourself from getting hurt.
Stop yourself from becoming disappointed.
Stop yourself from being let down.
Stop yourself from feeling the pain.
Stop yourself from experiencing the suffering.
But my darling.
My sweet one.
Beautiful girl.
Don’t you realise?
Can’t you see?
Isn’t it obvious?
YOUR LACK OF EXPECTATION IS KEEPING YOU FROM MAKING THE SALES AND EXPERIENCING THE SUCCESS YOU DESIRE!
Remember back to when you first started your business?
Remember that feeling that you had on the inside?
Remember how that sensation of self-trust and self-confidence you had flowing through you?
You showed up EVERY DAY.
You did the work EVERY DAY.
You reached out EVERY DAY.
And you were on fire.
Until you weren’t.
Something happened.
Or should I say.
Something didn’t happen.
And again your ego mind stepped up to the plate with that old story to protect you.
And again that story sounded so damn logical… so believable… so right… so true.
And again you listened to every single word and took it as gospel.
And again you pulled back in order to protect yourself from the pain and the suffering.
And again you truly believed that in pulling back you were protecting yourself from harm
But.
When you go deeper.
When you go inside.
When you go within.
You can see.
You can feel.
THE TRUTH
The real truth.
Which is nothing at all like your ego mind keeps telling you.
Nothing at all like that cracked record playing over and over again in your mind.
Instead.
You are putting:
Your work.
Your message.
Your passion.
Your purpose.
Your art.
Out there with absofuckinglutely NO expectation at all that you will receive any kind of value exchange for it.
You are giving your gift to your tribe but refusing to allow yourself to receive any reward for your offering.
YOU HAVE TAKEN THINGS TOO FAR… BEYOND THE REALM OF RECIPROCATION
Because sweet girl.
In showing up and not expecting a result.
In engaging and not expecting anything in return.
In messaging and not expecting conversation.
In offering and not expecting the sale.
YOU HAVE IN EFFECT CUT OFF THE FLOW OF UNIVERSAL ENERGY
You are telling the Big U that you are not worthy.
You are telling the Big U that you are not deserving.
You are telling the Big U that you are not good enough.
You are telling the Big U that you don’t believe in yourself.
You are telling the Big U that you have no real intention.
And my love.
In turn you are doing the EXACT thing that your ego mind continues to tell you that it is protecting you from!
You are hurting because sales aren’t coming in.
You are feeling the sharp pangs of disappointed.
You are riding the waves of suffering.
You are letting yourself down by expecting nothing.
You are in pain because you aren’t where you desire to be.
You are because your confidence is copping a beating.
You see.
It’s one thing to CREATE your content, to SHARE your art and to SPEAK your message and to truly BELIEVE and expect that you are going to RECEIVE sales in return for it and then to let it go.
To release it all so that the Universe can do its part and deliver your just rewards to you.
But.
It’s another, and not a good ‘another’ to NOT believe and expect it and to let it go with little to NO INTENTION at all.
Because.
When you do that.
When you don’t set the intention the right way…
Or at all.
When you have little to no expectation…
You are failing to ask for the reciprocation.
And when you do that… You get exactly what you asked for.
A BIG FAT FUCKING NOTHING
But the good news gorgeous is that it’s not too late for to change that.
It’s not too late for you to tear to shreds that ego message of self-protection which isn’t serving you.
That story that does not protect you at all.
And now that you know where it all started.
Now that you are aware of what is going on.
Inside and out.
It’s time to rekindle the fire of your EXPECTATION and to know that sure, not EVERYTHING will work out as planned. And to know that THAT is perfectly O.K.
And with the ACCEPTANCE of that, of what IS, you open yourself up to ALLOWING what will be.
SO GO NOW SWEET ONE
And make time to be still and silent. To be clear.
Allow yourself to slip into the gap between your thoughts, emotions and memories and into the blissful space that is pure awareness.
And one of the best ways of slipping into the gap is through meditation which takes you beyond your ego mind and into the silence and stillness of pure consciousness. It is here that you plant the seeds of your intention.
Set your intentions for what it is that you truly desire from a place of complete contentment and release that into the Universe.
Detach yourself from the outcome by relinquishing your attachment to a specific result and embrace the unadulterated wisdom of uncertainty.
And.
DON’T CONCERN YOURSELF WITH THE HOW
Leave the details to the power that is the Universe.
Trust.
Do not force.
Do not despair.
Do not plead.
Simply.
Trust in the ISness of what will be.
