I’ve worked with my share of women who have massive fears around being visible and showing up online. The origin of those fears very but the fears themselves remain the same.
Here are some of the things I hear from my clients:
I’m scared I’ll look stupid
I’m afraid that people won’t like me.
I’m scared that people will think I’m a fraud.
I’m afraid that no-one will like my message.
I’m scared that no-one will engage and comment on my stuff.
I’m afraid that I’m not good enough.
I’m scared that some people will be mean to me.
I’m afraid that people will think that I don’t know what I’m talking about.
Let me ask you this…
WHAT DO YOU THINK HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARE SCARED?
Nothing
Nada
Zip
Zilch
Fuck all
Except that you get all caught up in:
Worry
Stress
Anxiety
Overwhelm
And that stuff stops you from going out there and sharing your stuff. Spreading your message, speaking your truth.
You get so bogged down in (false) fears that you do absolutely nothing.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TAKE NO ACTION
You make no money!
And, unless I’m mistaken, you did start this business to make a shitton of money… Am I right!?
There are so many things you want to be.
There are so many things you want to do.
There are so many things you want to have.
And they simply WILL NOT become your new reality unless you do the work to overcome your fears.
If you’re hiding behind a fear of showing up, of being visible, of sharing your message, ask yourself this question:
What is the absolute WORST THING that would happen. if you were to choose to show up, be more visible and share your message online?
Got it.
Got your answer gorgeous one?!
Now.
I want you to re-frame (re-write) that answer in your head, or in your journal.
Let’s say that for you the worst thing that could happen is:
“My friends won’t like what I have to say and they’ll hassle me over it and think I’m a dick and I’ll never hear the end of it.”
(Because they disagree with it for whatever reason).
Re-frame:
“My friends will be blown away that I am so confident and know so much about ‘X’ that they’ll be super proud of me and blab about it to everyone they know.”
This becomes your new mantra.
Repeat it every single day.
Multiple times every single day.
Write it on sticky notes and paste them around your house.
Say it loud.
Say it in your head.
Create a simple audio and listen to it over and over again while you meditate.
The truth is that there is absolutely NO BAD THING that can or will come from you showing up, being visible and sharing your message online.
It’s ALL good.
Even the stuff that doesn’t seem good at the beginning, there are lessons, valuable learnings that come with every single experience you have.
So.
GET OUT THERE NOW GORGEOUS ONE
It’s time for you to show up.
It’s time for you to get visible.
It’s time for you to share your message.
EVERY-FUCKING-WHERE
In Facebook Groups
On your Facebook page
On Instagram
With your email list
The sooner you do it.
The more you do it.
The more consistent you are.
The sooner you’ll be making ah-mazing new connections with likeminded badass online entrepreneurs and making big-assed bank.
Doing what you love.
Speaking your truth.
Sharing your message.
Being 100% yourself.
